In case the world ends

i’m sending out love

to my family and friends

but if the world stays

the way it is, like I think-

lets all wear red

and also pink

red for our children,

the blood they shed.

red for our hearts

the broken ones.

pink for the babies

fresh and new

pink for hope,

ribbons, kisses-

for me, for you...

In case the world ends

there’s not much to do

except to sleep

wake up anew

wake up on 

the other side

with all my loves

and nothing to hide

don’t let regret spook you,

Baby Dreams

he dreamed about big people towering
swaying above him with their loving arms
ready to scoop him up high like a king
flying through his sky safe from any harms

he woke when a giant lifted him with care
gently drifted his small body onto a brilliantly bright,
soft colored mat delivering him
into his play kingdom.

Muse

Majestic works of art,
finely tuned
devoted solely
to my every breath.
inspired by
me...
mundanely moving about
my everyday life.

i want to be
someone's muse...

to be loved from afar-
the reason
for beautiful creations

i want to be the muse
of someone wildly famous
and rich
all because
of me.

i don't want to know
whose muse I am...

i'll go on waiting
and keep on living
all the while hoping
