for you all to see
it sometimes rhymes
it is like me
it is not a haiku
it is like me

it is three verses
and plenty more
it will refrain
and not complain


sometimes it shouts
or cries
or pouts
it is like you
it is like me
writing poetry
for humanity

i am

destiny, blank sky
i write the words in the air
and create my space

summer and time

a miracle
today is
filled with fun
confetti fizz
fruit punch
a lawn sprinkler
crazy cartoon

my kid telling me
that he  doesn't want to go
outside with "some girl*"

a miracle today is

 *i am "some girl" apparently

leap

a new place
marred by uncertainty

one step and she leaps in
like a child that jumps into
the water

all at once

once scared

now not

A wondering

This day I wonder 

And I am out wandering

To find my answer

Children build blanket towers
