Haiku 36 spirit

today, again

the way it would rain
the way i would never see you in the summer

but we found each other
every fall as if I were the leaves
and you the wind
colorful and fast
and so hard to catch

winter would find us by the fire
and i'd settle a while
let your rough blanket
keep me warm, sunken into
the rickety bed

no real place to go

haiku 35 - body

her dark, moonlit hair sweeps her shoulder's edges as she ponders the night

butterfly

it has taken so long to think this

somehow the pieces of the broken
drum become a symphony
that marches into the autumn wind

a moment can linger
can be music...or noise

transform a moment,
emerge - once a caterpillar,
weary of its cocoon
flies away
forgets
it was once trapped

haiku 34

i am only here
waiting for you, a miracle,
unrequited dream

haiku 33

light exposed the dark its desperate emptiness that waits for sunshine

This

Drifting through the day
A piece of dandelion
Wrapped up in the wind
