in the garden's secret life
a sentence traveler that has
blossomed in many minds
she cultivates better tomorrows
and hopes...

booger green
A while ago I wrote a bunch of haiku about the colors of the rainbow. And now the silly color haiku begin!
I drip down the edge
crusted nose, shirt cuff catches
my slippery smear

a silent storm
in my sleep
i am awakened by the snow's quiet fall
its landing, a welcome
excitement
tomorrow's snowman waits
for me,
anticipating his
carrot nose
an excited 4-year-old
has planned out the raisin belly
button our Frosty
is destined to wear
the dampened sky
is a whitish gray fog,
determined to keep us in-
in my sleep
the snow's invisible sound
starts something
adventurous
and I come alive,
a 4-year old
drawing plans for an igloo
