My pet fishtank by Laurie Molloy

Swimming men
in my fishtank
amusing for me,
I put them next
to my piggy bank,
saved them up-
carefully counted
so I knew they
were there,
and how many.
 

Left them where

everyone could see
little men splashing around
that I would not set free.
